WYSPAS May 2011 Production - Jesus Christ Superstar

Jesus Christ Superstar is the groundbreaking musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber (music) and Tim Rice (lyrics). It is a two act rock opera based on the last seven days of Jesus of Nazareth. It has proved so popular that it wasn't released for amateurs for over thirty years and then only very rarely.

Wyspas will be staging the show as part of the Wycombe Arts Festival and will be using the new Wycombe Arts Centre! This is the huge St John's church in Desborough Road. The inside of the building is stunning, with soaring wooden ceilings, immense stained glass windows and massive stone pillars - it is a fabulous and perfect setting for JCS!
