Arts4every1 is:

1. The name of the Centre for the Arts, Creativity and Enterprise based at the old St John's Church buildings in Desborough Road, High Wycombe.

2. Arts4every1 is also the brand name of Wycombe Community Arts Centre Ltd, a charity established to manage the centre.

3. Arts4every1 is also a membership organisation that local artists and arts groups can join and receive a wide range of benefits.

You are welcome to sign up to this website free but we encourage you to become a paid up member of Arts4every1 and really get involved in making a difference to yourself and the wider Wycombe District community. Download and complete the membership form now

Progress in 2011

We've made excellent progress on the building and improvement works at the centre in 2011. Here are some highlights:

  • New bar and sound/lighting desk space in the old church
  • New bar area in the halls
  • New catering kitchen fitted out in the halls
  • Three phase electrics to support theatrical lighting in the church and halls
    (Funds needed for own lighting system)
  • Fire alarm system
  • Wheelchair access to the church from the front car park
  • Wheelchair accessible toilet in the halls
  • New utilities and new flooring in the toilets in the halls
  • Steps to church made safe
  • New access door from rear of halls
  • New stage in the church
  • Purchase of scaffolding tower to facilitate high level works and productions
  • External wheelchair toilet at rear of church
  • External toilets (x2) at front of church
    (Funds needed to build new toilet and kitchen block for church)
  • This work has been funded by the building works grant from Wycombe District Council
